During the course of this week, I've been immersed in productivity research and stumbled upon one of my favorite apps: Notion. Notion serves as a comprehensive solution, encompassing note-taking, calendar management, and organization systems, all bundled into a single platform. You might find yourself wondering why this app hasn't crossed your path before. The answer is rather simple: it's a relatively recent addition to the market, thus explaining its lower familiarity. It first launched in 2012, and has been on the rise ever since.

The beauty of Notion lies in its adaptability. Its flexible framework allows me to customize the app to suit my individual workflow and preferences. From creating personalized templates and databases to organizing information in a visually appealing manner, Notion empowers me to tailor the app to my unique requirements, enhancing both efficiency and aesthetics. Thus, promoting my studying as a student to be second nature.

Recently, I revisited a YouTube video by Ali Abdaal titled "How I use Notion as a Resonance Calendar." The video highlighted a crucial insight about our consumption of content: despite consuming a significant amount of information, we often only retain a handful of valuable "lessons" and end up forgetting the rest. Ali proposes a solution in the form of a resonance calendar, which serves as a bank for the content that deeply resonates with us.

The concept is simple yet powerful. Suppose you come across an intriguing podcast and encounter a thought-provoking idea, even if it's just a couple of words. Without delay, you can open Notion and capture that specific moment, preserving it within the resonance calendar. This practice ensures that these resonant moments are not lost amidst the vast sea of consumed content.

-I hope this weekend treats you well!
